I agree with you that fund managers can make you good returns on your investments,but also i have seen the damage they can do to hard working families when things go pearshaped.Dont put all your eggs into one basket is a rule i have stuck with most of my life.I agree with the falling in love with a stock theory,therefore when i find a stock i like such as AVB %60 of my holdings are long term and the other 40 i trade on a reguler basis its worked well for me over the years.A lot of people on HC bag day traders but without them prices can be stagnet for long periods of time...good luck with your trading
