The number of shares I think is absolutely irrelevant unless you have the unfortunate job of signing the individual share certificates or licking the envelopes in which they are posted. The number of shares is simply the way the market of the company is sliced... so it's less important how many pieces of the pie there are than it is the size of the pie.

The number to watch is market cap ... not the number of shares. So the real question is then "Is Far worth $387m?" and not "Does FAR have too many shares on issue?"

And if you can get there, then you say "if FAR throws X billion at Senegal by issuing Y gazillion shares, is FAR worth $387m + X billion or not?". It is still irrelevant how many trillion shares are on issue!

It's about value, not the number of slices!

Sorry to interrupt... back to my envelope licking job...sigh!

State the oblivious Sherlock,when you issue shares at 8c and the market values them at 7c,that lowers the market cap and dilutes existing holders share value.No?
I guess that's why your employed licking envelopes.
