I phoned nexus on monday after reading in the business spectator that nexus was doing the capital raising so they could meet the requirements of the Longtom sale (they clearly got the wrong end of the stick) and I have to say that it sounded like they were deliberately not meeting the criteria so the deal could not go ahead. they also said its on track to be finished mid october. I for one think its an obviously good thing the deal is off. not sure why I have been explaining to my mates all day that its a big win for the company, but I will take advantage of the general ignorance to up my stake while the price is down.
