no savings for me from abolition of carbon tax

Well well who would have thought.
Here in Queensland we got a few dollars knocked off our power bill due to the removal of the carbon tax.
BUT Ergon has introduced a "service charge" which is a flat fee for every consumer before usage.
This "service charge" on my bill is more than the savings from removal of the carbon tax.
I'd imagine most other consumers are in a similar position.
What a joke our economic system is.
