"Surely they can contact the government and try get some form of an update.."
I did. I'm a natrual pessimist, but now I feel much better about the MLA. Don't hold your breathe for August, not saying it won't happen, but don't get overly concerned if it doesn't happen before the end of the month. Try and take up a new hobby that will last through Sept, crochet, tai chi, build a ship in a bottle??
From what I could gather, the team at IFE have done all that would be expected of a first time junior. Doesn't sound like they dazzled anyone, but sounds like they're jumping through the required hoops.
God damn it's frustrating playing the waiting game from the outside, but I'm trying to be patient and have faith. We all know many times over why both are challenged by actions and lack of communication on IFE's part. But I can also understand if Ian is muttering under and over his breathe that we can all go and get...you know. Before you post any replys saying that it's his job and he gets paid to be a professional and organise comms and all that, don't bother, you're singing to the choir. I agree, but what can we do at this stage? Or more like, is it worth doing anything more than just waiting for four weeks at this stage?? Fingers crossed we'll get OUR bloody MLA before then!!
As really helpful posters have informed us, the camp is being built and early works have been completed so I think we're off and racing, and the MLA should give us a nice little boost, hope to see it reflected in the SP, but I think resulting debt finance will be more the catalyst we need. I'm numb, too much waiting has deadened my IFE nerves, I don't really care if we wallow at this level or even drop, AS LONG AS THEY DON'T RAISE CAPITAL FROM THESE PATHETIC LEVELS!!!!! If we don't have the licence by mid Sept, and it's the fault of IFE, I'll be massively pi55ed, but if IFE is doing what's required and it's PIRSA that is delaying things, be it due process or blow outs, then I think I'm prepared to wait for as long as it takes.
I just cannot see the Iron Ore price tanking, I think we'll still see very strong sales even if it takes us beyond July to load a ship. It'll hurt like buggery (not that I'd know, just a colloquial term!!), but the silver lining will be no performance rights!! Talk about a nice hedge!!
Anyway, that's my two cents and ramble for now.
Good luck holders. I'm still a hold until the debt finance gets inked.
