I think NWD is great. I hope it gets plenty of penetration. The Telcos are ripping off the public.
just thought about 5G last nite though. I cant be certain if it is going to eliminate global roaming charges.
If u want to find out for sure - then ring Ericsson engineers who are designing it. They don't mention anything about roaming on their info. So It may not be a threat to NWD.

It will be long time before 5G is implemented globally and they are still designing it.
SO NWD has 10yrs or more before 5G has some penetration.

Just that Telcos have hundreds of engineers and they can adapt to change quickly compared to the few staff NWD have.
