Some sections of the "mother lode" are rich and some sections are not so rich - in copper concentraits.

The particular section of ore body now being mined is one section that is not as rich in copper.

Probably uncertainty about Kulumaziba, unexpected and lengthy nature of overburden removal problem at Dikulushi, news about Rebel activity albeit long way from Anvil interests and UN troops being ambushed, etc., a wind-back from the 87 cents share sales which perhaps was too high a figure for the then state of play, lack of new positive news or development, institutions satiated with Anvil shares pulling back, etc, etc, etc.

Now market slump!

The price of Copper is not likely to crash, Anvil will continue to make progress.

Once profit stream from both Dikulushi and Kulumaziba kick in -----
