there is no shortage of iron ore or coal either if you blanket take all the known deposits in the world and add them up.
there is a shortage of them however if you factor in sovergien risk, infrastructure access, processing risk and market share (ie marketing contracts keeping out new guys ala FMG).
the U game is about, safety, size and longevity of supply. for that matter all energy security is about the above and countires WILL pay a premium for it. they always have.
in some cases they start wars over it!
