Isn't this thread about whether or not there's a uranium shortage? For a shortage you need demand higher than supply and you only talk about demand. Besides, coal, natural gas, and alternative energies, etc are all likely to encroach on the demand for uranium. You should watch catalyst from last night too. Surprisingly the internet is one of the biggest projected consumers of power - 50% of all energy in the next decade!!! - but photonic routers are likely to massively reduce that energy consumption in the next few years. Simple technological advances can easily make a dent in future projected energy needs and probably offset any increases from electric vehicles for a couple of decades until they become ubiquitous.

Don't be so quick to assume that a Uranium shortage is for sure. It's natural to automatically dismiss an alternate viewpoint, just as those predicting crashes just before they happen are always rejected by the mainstream. Where there's scoffing at an idea there's often people who have massive vested interests and whose rationality is severely compromised. Make sure you invest in companies that will thrive even in the worst case.
