I agree that its difficult to place too much emphasis on the details of the operational difficulties provided by HDR (but not WPL). But I'm cautiously optimistic because whenever HDR have given us additional information it has beeen a pointer to the result. Blowout protectors as far as I can tell are specifically fitted to prevent a blowout of oil or gas...rather than water. I wonder if they hit the target higher than expected .. and what they will do second time around to prevent or overcome another influx??? Anyone know? I guess what I'm saying is that there must be this type of "kick" each time a new reservoir is punctured // so what went wrong in the process this time?
