Wish they would tell us what depth the cretaceous layer starts at though.....that might give us a bit more to work with.
The other possibility about not disclosing whether it's water or hydrocarbons that caused the kick is the disclaimer they put in every announcement that "hydrocarbon shows will only be reported after all required logs have been run and evaluated". That doesn't normally stop ROC though ;)
