If you remember brucey both parties made unrealistic promises about what they could do about interest rates, fuel prices etc. The previous PM actually lost the last election in part due to his long list of broken promises.

Now we have both Labor and Liberal with the same policy on Carbon Trading which is going to send living costs through the roof if implemented.
