The way to get around that is simple: remove as much as the human emotion from the investment process.

And the way to do that is to buy shares in businesses when they are being sold at sufficiently meaningful discounts to fundamental value.

Ergo, unbridled greed circumvented.

Sure beats the crap out of trying to second guess what "the market" (whatever that is) might be expected to do over the foreseeable future.
