it's funny to think about the cockroach and rat - shark, crocodile, virus, bugs, god knows what

yes - they'll be here and we won't

so much for adaptation.

I certainly think that humans will be gone - in the not too distant future - be that 100k years or 1 million years.

I wonder if there'll be some kind of advanced intelligence left - I also wonder if there's not advanced intelligence already on the planet - but, humans don't realise it.
It is certainly possible - something that advanced that it doesn't need hard technologies.

Sitting about waiting for the biggest mess maker of all to die out.
