state govt needs to get its act together and make recycling, or at least safe disposal, of batteries compulsory and easily available.
too many cheaply made smaller batteries which are too easily sent into thermal runaway.
where are the federal govt regulations on importing batteries to ensure they comply with a higher standard? this needs to be done to ensure these shyte batteries are prevented from entering Aus and that batteries used in scooters etc come to the Aus standard of safety and efficiency.
