Swathes of South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia are in the grip of drought as they experience some of the lowest rainfall totals on record.Farmers are spending eye-watering amounts of money buying feed, or selling stock to stay afloat. Some towns are already on water restrictions. Those not connected to the mains water system are in a perilous situation. In the Adelaide Hills, water is being trucked in to fill empty rainwater tanks and dams. The story playing out across southern Australia could be a glimpse of what’s to come. Our recent research suggests southern Australia may experience longer and more frequent droughts in the future, as the climate changes. https://science.anu.edu.au/news-events/news/why-southern-australia-drought-and-when-will-it-end#:~:text=Parts%20of%20southern%20Australia%20have,up%20to%20maintain%20water%20supply. also...its actually pretty disingenuous to base your whole disregard for climate science based on a 17 yr old comment given the improvements in technology as well as disregarding the climate change evidence ...such as deceased of diminishing polar ice caps. Hope that helps

So how does a drought in South Aussie change the fact that the Antarctic ice cap is increasing over recent years. How does a warm weather pattern in one area change the fact that another area is gaining significant ice. South Aussie is getting rain as we chat is it drought breaking? we will have to wait and see but it’s not unusual for any of our States to have drought’s is it.
