The unadjusted data shows the highest data point is from the 1930 annual mean area and that the 5 year mean line ( they tell you so bloody well use your eyes ) descends from the 1930 high point from that point.
Get help - primary school kids could tell you that from the graph.Now the Climategate guys knew they had to be dishonest to make their desired case. The new dishonest graph is the end result. They were as dishonest as they had to be to make the narrative. They hid behind their arguments to alter the data of course.
Mann went too far in his dishonesty and won't let anyone check his data at all. Has only spent just short of a million so far to keep it that way.
Such behaviour is that of a con man. Honest scientists want people to check their data - look at it even at all, someone please do so!
