Plant, insect, and fungi fossils under the center of Greenland’s ice sheet are evidence of ice-free times

Sea level has been rising since the end of the last ice age and there’s no evidence to suggest we’re seeing anything outside of that long-term trend. In fact, research shows that Greenland has been warmer in the past and recent research shows that Greenland has been ice free in the past, even when atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations were much lower than at present.
