It's because of the consequences of what people are doing here.
The lies that have been spread over the last few decades have greatly slowed our response to the climate crisis. The slower we respond the more people will suffer, much of this is because of the greed of a small number of powerful people. There are people that are knowingly part of the propaganda effort and others who have been duped.
I have no interest in being polite to people who know better and are deliberately lying and little sympathy for those determined not to know the truth.
