i'm surprised that for someone who bangs on endlessly about how well informed they are you're unaware of what the word transition means.
as we see with power there's a transition underway towards increasing generation from renewable sources and less from fossil fuels, such as coal, gas and diesel.
this transition is accelerating because the smart money can see that not only is power from renewables way cheaper than fossils, they're better for the environment.
it's what's known as a win/win. Any myopic analyst favoring fossils is backing a lose/lose path.
