"The federal government has revised the feedlot cattle industry's contribution to greenhouse gas emissions.It has adopted a new equation to calculate methane from grain-fed cattle following research by the University of New England.The research revises the previous estimates of methane emissions downwards by 56 per cent on average in the past five years."
