6 Aug 2024 — Australia Post has announced it will dump its aim of carbon neutral deliveries despite an existing commitment to reach net zero emissions by 2050.
Australia Post has discontinued its "Certified Carbon Neutral Deliveries" program for MyPost Business customers, effective August 12, 2024. This means that parcels delivered through MyPost Business will no longer be automatically carbon neutral.
Customers who were using the carbon-neutral delivery option through MyPostBusiness are required to remove any references to carbon neutrality from their marketing materials and online presence by the effective date.
