    Here's an interesting start.

    This shows that the Stefan-Boltzmann equation accurately calculates the daytime surface temperature of the moon:

    "Since the emissivity is close to 1 minus the reflectance, those two terms cancel out, and inverting the equation gives the maximum day-time high on the Moon: 394 K or about 120 degrees C."

    We shouldn't see any disagreement that the SB equation is a valid method of calculating the temperature of an object from basic thermodynamic principles.
