    This is going to be slow, one very small step at a time and I'll try to keep a history of the discussion in each post.

    We have now at least established some agreement that the Stefan Boltzmann equation can be used to calculate the BB temp of a surface.

    Now before the next small slow step I'm adding a short discussion of the ozone layer that will become relevant later.

    I'm hoping we can also find common agreement of the basic fact highlighted above that around 95% of incoming UV from the Sun is absorbed by the Ozone layer.
