The science is uncertain but the IPCC is adamant that the earth is boiling/about to boil and their interpretation of the limited evidence of this chaotic system is undeniable (in their eyes).
Everything like water vapour in the atmosphere, urban heat island effect, volcanic activity and a cast of (potentially) so many more factors that play a part in Climate have been cast aside or relegated to the Not worth Worrying about Bin as the IPCC can only see MMCo2 as being the “only cause for a slightly warming trend”.
Funnily enough all my friends who are also adamant about our climat/weather going to the dogs tell me that it’s not that the current weather is overly extreme but that the future weather is going to be a real bastard.
Even after I point out just how wrong the predictions of the climate modelling has been since the 1980’s they still tell me that I’m not a scientist and that scientists wouldn’t lie.
Even after I point out that I called the climate modelling claims of the 80’s and 90’s and they were accusing me of being wrong back then but we all know that I was correct. They still use the same references to tell me i’m wrong this time.
Even as the lights go out and our energy security is compromised beyond belief our climate worrying friends will still be telling me/us that we have been and are wrong about the $cience.
