I say this not because I want to get into a comparison of hunting skills, but because I'm trying to explain to you that I know how fast an area can get hunted or fished out.

When a large population is displaced and living off the land, lack of hunting skills won't be the problem. The complete stripping of the land will happen so fast you won't even believe it.
This isn't an "alone" or ancient tribal situation where there is lots of area per person.
