Desert regions are greening due to flora no longer suffering CO2 starvation. It has nothing to do with changing climate.

Stoma of plants, the pores on their leaves that allow gas exchange, used to have to be be wide open to sequester CO2. Due to the paucity of CO2 in recent times, these exchange ports have had to trade off 'fishing' for CO2 with massive loss of water molecules. The flora in these desert regions have passed a 'tipping point' whereby the extra few CO2 molecules in the system has reduced the haemorrhaging of H2O. The ratio of H2O loss to CO2 gain can be like 400:1.
