Apparently the Americans in Texas have not heard about climate change and extreme weather events

''“We have floods all the time… We had no reason to believe that this was going to be anything like what’s happened here. None whatsoever.

Have we got this right ---------- We have floods all the time

but, we allow children's groups to camp in river ways where we know there are regular flash floods and there have been many deaths over the years

''On Thursday afternoon, the NWS had issued a flood watch that highlighted Kerr County as a place at high risk of flash flooding through the night.
A flash flood emergency warning was issued for Kerr County at 4.03 a.m. local time, followed by a “particularly dangerous situation” warning for Kerrville at 5.34 a.m
    .''

So - let's be clear --------- authorities ''We have floods all the time… '

Thursday - ''On Thursday afternoon, the NWS had issued a flood watch that highlighted Kerr County as a place at high risk of flash flooding through the night.''

But authorities ---------- didn't order evacuation of the areas of risk

why? - oh, just another flood warning that says -'high risk'

    uh huh!!!!!!!!

And in Texas, we all know that 'extreme weather events are fake news'

    well, this one isn't
