Very interesting development and good news if correct.
(3.5kms west of Libra1) will be Octans (AC/P41) the southern extension of Crux.. It was the talked about 2nd optional well using Transocean. Mitsui would have been paying for the NXS share if we still held in that permit.
It will be a Low risk well and has the potential to prove up more reserves in our core Crux field... (effectively a free drill for Nexus)
Libra, Octans .. Can only guess that Auriga would be the next drilled and soon.. by which vessel?
Shell would then have the near complete picture of the Crux + Wider crux Gas resource... might prompt a decision for their Browse LNG (including liquids stripping) and we benefit from the possible co-project..
