Maybe Ms. Parsons should stop driving her car and using electricity for her day to day existence. Then she won't leave herself vulnerable to being attacked as a hypocrite or a NYMBY.
As for the rest of the tree hugging, high moral ground claiming brigade, they should stop driving around in their spluttering 1970 something clunkers, spewing out more than 3 times as much green house gases as any modern car. Don't eat any livestock because they produce methane, don't eat any vegies because they are fertilised with the products of mining, don't use any electricity for light or warmth, anything less than that you are an UTTER hypocrite. In fact if such a regime were imposed they may all be starved out of existence, alternatively they could go live in a cave somewhere and live on wild berries and yams.
These people would have us all go back to the caves.
