Always enjoy your posts but I have to wonder what these emails and phone calls about current JV decisions are expected to achieve.

What are the possible scenarios ?

1) Thanks for the call and BTW we have just about concluded a fantastic outcome with (ie Tullow) I will be announcing it next week after I get them to sign all the paperwork. Don't tell anyone please!

2) Haven't had a bite on this JVP thing for 7 months now, we're thinking about asking the SH's if they would like to join us on a door knock PR campaign.

3) I have Tullow over a barrel and teasing them with CNOOC and Orphir, I reckon with this GOM opportunity I can get another 10% WI and free carry on two wells.
But lets keep this our little secret OK don't want them to think I'm bluffing this deal.

4) Bugger off you're wasting our time we have work to do here.

I may have missed one or two outcomes here, but you get my drift I hope.
