If anything with the regulations put in place by the State Govt, it has become virtually impossible for any projects to get off the ground, regardless of whether a co is an explorer or a producer.
Mel has been waiting since 2008 to get production licence for Casino project.
The State Govt can't have it both ways. Either they support the gas industry or they don't. Mel and its shareholders have been stuffed around, too long. Either they get on with it or it may result in another court case, 5000 shareholders vs State Govt.
