Charles K and others such as Victor Davis Hanson (not to mention Daniel Pipes and Emerson) are Conservatives (capital C) and are involved within and without US conservative politics and articulate the formation of this new neo-conservatism through Washington Post, NYTimes and National Review.
They form a very powerful and influential force within the framework of federal politics, but are not known outside the US.
