    "CNP, it's dynamite
    Rescuers(?) are out of sight
    CNP, it's 'bout to explode,
SP up or small bits to someone(s) I suppose...."

    apologies to AC/DC

Lots of pawing over financial arrangements, waiting for someone to throw a life-line, debt reduction verses equity raising off shareholders, bit of this, bit of that, this angle, that angle, this valuation, that evaluation, real estate, unreal real estate valuations, NTA, ROI for shareholders, ROI for banks if real estate values tumble, risk to all, especially the needy, risk to future generations if largely limited and non-productive real estate values change, Baby Boomers sorrow as their nest eggs get devoured, young ones maybe growing into a new era of increased housing affordability, questions as to why we spent so long on that Tower of Babel and pyramids, consuming humungous amounts of resources and blood.....

that's right, better throw in the the factors of corporate ethics in wall erection and writing in the books, writing on walls, wall reconstruction, walls falling down, walls to contain, walls to keep out, walls to dam, walls to hold, insulated walls for insulated rooves with windows facing north (southern hemisphere) and right-sized eaves, investment in solar panels and such on top of that, ways to catch water off the roof, filter, then store underground (away from the walls), crikey we all do know deep down what is worth building, don't we?

Anyway, where was I? That's right, arguing something, hhhmm, might have to reassess what I was going to say and why I was going to say it.

I'm just a shareholder holding a relatively small amount of CNP shares, seems quite risky, but potential huge up-side. If I've been a bit lazy, kept in the dark, I might not be able to get over this hedge of thorns without a bit of pain or considerable pain. Anyway, no pain, no gain. DYOR as well as you can, I reckon, then check out how you value things.... no, maybe better to start with the self-evaluation first, then the valuation, then the investment of time and money. Hmm, must remember that myself. To be honest, could have done LOTS more research before entering in, but hey, it's only money, so I tell my wife. Crikey, perhaps I should be more responsible, less greedy..... COME ON CNP, YOU CAN DO IT!! Would think that the ROI to banks is much more on CNP's real estate assets than the average return on houses, BUT it is a lot of debt. If the "smart money" got out last year, maybe they will re-invest again some time soon. I suppose they will invest in something at some time, but only they know that. Meanwhile, DYOR
PS Taken me so long to write this, maybe CNP's in different shape than when I last looked, quick, panic, back to look at the share price and announcements, suspect in this game, I'll be doing this for some time and too much time. Better go outside and play with my child.
