I would dispute that nursing homes are god's waiting rooms.
I would also take umberance with the suggestion that its acceptable for these people to die. Or simliarly vunerable people. Including the thousands and thousands of kids who have health problems that would be terminal if the caught Covid.
Yes we are doing OK, but only beacuse of most peoples' common sense, like you are displaying, and wider policies.
I appreciate what you are saying, but the evidence is that tens of thousands will die. Highly infectious virus that causes deaths - at 1 % and chronic health problems. 25 million at 1% is 250,000. Add to that the ongoing health problems.
I have no answer, but opening up would be catastrophic, as evidenced across the world.
