    National elimination is a very sensible objective but I don't think any of us have the omnipotence to declare it the only rational objective. Personally I prefer to allow others to have their own point of view.

    Questions I have are:

    - How much damage do we do to society getting there?
    - How long do we continue shutting down every time a new case is detected?

    I know of a 92-year-old in Victoria who is struggling because he has life left to live but he is locked in his home and he doesn't want to spend his final years in isolation. I believe his words were life is not worth living if it's going to continue like this.

    My personal view is that there's invariably a different perspective to consider.
