It's VERY unlikely they would force a vaccine on people for this virus. There could be a case for some specific places, if there is a very effective and safe vaccine. People coming from hot spots and going to prisons or hospitals with those who can't take vaccines, maybe. Where the safety of the many is impacted by the actions of a few.
The govt has all sorts of powers it CAN use, but usually doesn't. Because the government is us. We vote them in, and should hold them to account. Bleating about them is fine, but use your vote and then if others agree with you, you get your way.
