Not the way they would play it; Labor just has to show the LNP as the villian/enemy in this, and a "No" victory will haunt Liberals forever.
Every time there is anything wrong with Indigenous affairs, Labor can say " We tried to fix it, but that lot stopped us."
Labor comes out of this smelling of roses regardless.
