Russia is one place where the US has never been able to impose a regime. Putin is a nasty piece of work (Yeltsin almost unspeakable - the Russian Teddy Roosevelt) but I ask you, seriously, can you imagine what sort of subhuman mitocondrion the US would have imposed, given their 100% disaster rate so far????
