What a load of rubbish. I have received calls from many companies in the past about participation in capital raisings or takeover offers. I imagine I had my phone number on signing up to the share registry, most liekly because they probably had it as a mandatory field.
If you already applied for your entitlement then you probably wouldn't have got a call...
