    holding fast,,and ignoring the BS and shorts,,,,must find a web link one has that shows daily shorted

    Right,anyway,
    Having finished inventing a new tonic,can no turn attention
    to your request,and was pondering many options,but as we are
    heading inot winter thought of this as a main stay.

    Picked it up some many moons ago while stuffing about,and staying in a
    little inn near Berchtesgaden ,from a very fine junge Frau
    with fine Mack Truck grade bumpers on her rig,and she
    said "You know,it helps to keeping sehr stark Brüste,und macht steifer Bleistift (lead in the german for pencil),..

    Well she was not kidding about the 'stark' bit either'(german for very)
    and would have loved to run into such bumper bars,but her hubby had this
    ,NO kidding,huge "blunderbuster",hanging over the barrel of Apfelwein (Scrumpy),
    so just asked for the recepie instead.

    So may one present:

    "Bavarian,General Gut Health,and Hot air under the blankets soup"

    Ochsenschwanz und Sauerkraut Suppe/Eintopf
    Ox Tail and Sauerkraut Soup/stew(afer a few days)

    The bits: (depending on pot size)

    5 Ox Tail (oso buco) (any beef will do but the marrow is vital)
    1 tin Sauerkraut
    weight for weight carrrots to Sauerkraut
    6 stick of cellery( chunk of Celeriac better)
    10 Potatos (or 2 per each Tail bone)
    2 medium onions
    Hand full of dried mushrooms
    (no if pos,,get from a delli Boletus edulis,or any Boletus sp.
    if not then some other dried, shiitake mushrooms,or even button
    what you need is the umami aspect to cut the lactic acid in the cabbage)
    1 garlic if you have no mushrooms.
    1 table spoon salt
    Whole Pepper to personal prefenece(in no pepper then pimento)
    1 level tables spoon caraway seeds.
    2 pitted prunes per beef bone.
    A big bunch of parlsley,or coriander.


    Now.
    A. Bowl.
    Put Sauerkraut
    Dice carrot into little finer tip sized bits
    all the caraway.
    Mix set aside in fridge.

    B. A pot
    1 put beef,salt,pepper each onion halved, mushrooms((whole)
    {if no mushrooms (then depending on your mood) beat the sheet out of galic,
    or sliver cut and add},prunes and the sticks of cellery/chunk celeriac inot pot.
    Cover with water,bring to boil,then with lid on top!!!!!!
    Lest simmer for 20 min.

    After 20 min,remove onions,and celery/celeriac
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Your potatoes should have been Cubed ( 2 per bone or 8 good pieces)
    ,when 20 min of simmer is done
    add spuds,and cover pot.
    (remember you dont want the spuds soggy,the next step will help

    Simmer for 10 min.

    Now add the the stuff ya put in the fridge,having turned pot temp
    to simmer,
    The temp drop,will force the cold and hot to swap flavor better

    With lid on top simmer till carrots are just take a fork poke,
    taste several times,and add more salt pepper,or even a bit of sugar
    if you fine that the mushrooms have not pacify the cabbage,
    but it really should have the sour lactic effect.

    Prep bowls,fine chop parsley)you don't want soggy parsley)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Ladle out concoction,sprinkle parsley
    and if you wish a dollop of sour cream.

    After,,have some 1 or more schnapps,or other spirit
    (wine not recommended,as the gut chemistry mucks up the meal)

    (and the feather make the best pillows,(the little ones anyway,the big one end up
    poking the eye at 4am,just when the dream is getting to the good parts),,
