So they look at recent NE USA winters, and a study showing these have been affected by "cold air outbreaks" from jet stream weakening as a result of climate change.

And they then try to attack a statement in the paper's introduction that says:
"Despite global warming, recent winters in the Northeastern United States (US), Europe and especially in Asia were anomalously cold. "

That is patently clear from the charts they show. 2013 and 2014 were around a degree cooler than the century average, despite a warming overall trend, and five degrees cooler than recent warmer years.

And they then make a fuss about that choice of words and get shouty that way back in the century some winters were colder.

And on the basis of that they try and claim NOAA is erasing anomalous winters.

Never mind that the study's purpose was to show how the jet stream changes were the cause of those recent colder winters.

Never mind that there is a warming trend overall for NE USA winters.

Just get unreasonably picky about a phrase in the paper introduction.

And somehow segueway that into "NOAA erase anomalously cold winters".
Never mind that they use NOAA data to show those early century colder winters. lols. Some erasing.

The denial blogosphere is getting dumber and more extreme.

But those who want to believe this BS don't look behind the headline. NOAA is erasing cold winters. Jeez. No. They are not.

Another year. But still more birdy BS.
