The bid by Noble Group (subsidiary Osendo PTY) for Gloucester Coal has sparked the Aussie coal sector, and has reversed the recent fall in Felix Resources.
Gloucester stock was tightly held and it was a major holder that has bid, and a bid by AMCI seems unlikely for Felix.
Would Felix consider buying Gloucester's 36% stake in Whitehaven despite the commitment to developing Moolarben? Felix has recently raised a borrowing facility that was not really needed.
