does anyone know much about the Russian, Mordashov and his Severstal ? l think the Japs would be more reliable, but maybe Twiggy could find a good deal maker with Mordashov.
Industry sources said although Mitsubishi had superior financial clout, its conservative approach and links to Japanese steel makers made Mr Mordashov's Severstal Steel a more likely partner.
Mr Mordashov is Russia's seventh and the world's 64th richest man. He is already eyeing a $US15 billion float of his 89 per cent-owned steel group in a bid to give Severstal a global presence
