Manila, the Crawley Resources 18 million shares are now owned by the Noble Group. Crawley Resources is the investment vehicle of Michael Kiernan and the Noble Group were involved. When MK stepped down as TTY Chairman, Noble Group and MK went their separate ways. MK therefore owed the Noble Group for their shares, an agreement was drawn up and MK agreed to purchase the 18 million shares for $9.2 million approx.
MK defaulted on his payment, and as a result the Noble Group have retained the right to these shares.
The Noble Group have continued to purchase TTY shares on the market and they now hold 30.1% of TTY.
The answer is YES to your question, it is feasible that the Noble Group and Exxaro can hold TTY in a stalemate, but it's not ideal for either party.
Currently we have Noble Group with 30.1%
Exxaro with 11.19%
Deutshe Bank 8.94%
Centaurus Capital 7.92%
That's 58.15% accounted for.
If the Noble Group plan to get control then they'd better do something soon.
