Did Morrison seek out legal advice given that the scheme he pushed for, was changing the process of debt collection? No he did not, even though it was incumbent on him to do so by any reasonable standard. But Morrison doesn't operate using reasonable standards and there is the main problem right there.
The Robodebt scheme was known to be changing the debt recovery process and there were so many red flags that were ignored. I suggest you do some reseach and see some of the evidence given in the R.C. Those that put Robodebt in place either knew or made it there business to not fully investigate or worse still did their best to not have the unlawful nature of the scheme become common knowledge. Sadly the facts speak for themselves. The fact that Morrison is still in our Parliament speaks volumes about how shameless the man is.
