I don't know this annoys me so much, and I'm sure this has been commented on before, but why on earth do leaders (or sub-leaders), when being interviewed on the tele, always have somebody behind them looking intense and concentrating, even worshiping,and NODDING every time to something they have probably heard scores of times during the day.

It happens on both sides, and to me, the message is totally lost because all I do is to count the nods.
