Just watched ABC TV news this morning with a segment on people travelling into the far flung regions of Australia. One interviewee was talking about how the big increase in touring families was boosting his vehicle recovery and repair business.

I was also looking at a business this morning called Camplify that is planning an IPO. Camplify has 5,400 camping/travelling style vehicles available for hire. Theses vehicles belong to private owners who rent out their vehicles when not in own use. The Camplify prospectus says bookings last year were 13,424 and forecast to be up 95% to 26,144 bookings for FY'21

On average each motorhome is hired out for 52 days a year generating $10,600 for each owner, on average.

Similarly the listed Apollo motorhome+campervan seller and and rentals business has seen a resurgence in its business since it reached its nadir back in March 2020.

All of these elements will rub off on Bapcor with its vast regional network of both trade and retail stores. The sales impacts when reported will be fascinating.

    Cheers.............Daicosisgod
