@gragou02G'day gragou2, previously the Bapcor MD Darryl Abotomley had said that in very early response to Covid-19 Bapcor had purchased an additional $40 million of inventory of fast moving lines to ensure it could maintain supply to customers.
On average Bapcor holds about 3 months worth of turnover in inventory. In addition Australian suppliers hold a lot of inventory onshore in Australia, its just the nature of spare parts in Australia.
Abotomley is a great MD and I would be shocked to the core if they had inventory shortages. Bapcor is one of the great defensive stocks on the ASX.
