I'm not even sure why a discussion about the involvement of government is considered, they only play politics when it suits them, and lose interest when it doesn't, usually around election cycles. The labor party has enough for ministers to be worried about with both a state forthcoming and federal election possibly before the end of the year.

Any government involvement should be avoided at all costs and eventually spells doom especially if they think they can drive the agenda for political propaganda of a company by being so generous with the taxpayers money.

Small government grants are only to stave off the eventual running out of money, and even if this incompetent government gets a whiff of delay beyond the election cycle they'll dump any implied promises as they will look like they don't really understand investment at all, which by the way don't. You know this by how tardy they are about their disclosure about investments they hold and conveniently FORGET when found out. Sometimes they are just that stupid though?
